Paranormal Activity adalah film horor independen Amerika Serikat tahun 2007 yang ditulis dan disutradarai oleh Oren Peli.[5] Film ini tampil di Screamfest Film Festival, Amerika Serikat, pada 14 Oktober 2007, dan juga ditayangkan di Slamdance Film Festival pada 18 Januari 2008.

Film ini berkisah mengenai pasangan muda, Katie dan Micah, yang dihantui oleh kekuatan supranatural di rumah mereka. Film ini menggunakan genre "found footage" dari kamera yang mereka pasang untuk mengetahui apa yang menghantui mereka. I’ve heard a lot of people badmouthing Paranormal Activity.  I’ve also heard a lot of people praising the same movie.  I’ve still not seen it, so I can’t tell you what I think, but I can tell you that the trailer is creepy.  Even creepier is the trailer for Paranormal Activity 2, which hit theaters last night before midnight showings of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (just in time to scare the Edward panties off the teenage girls in the audience).
